A 7 String Les Paul Style Guitar

7 String Les Paul Style Guitar

If you are looking for a 7 string Les Paul style guitar than may we suggest the Agile AL-3010SE 727.  This 7 string guitar offers all the awesome features of the popular Agile AL model in a 7 string configuration along with a few other goodies!

So far Rondomusic is offering these guitars in two finishes.  They are flat black (our favourite) and tiger flame, which still looks really cool!  Like we said, to us, the flat black finish just looks badass and is definitely the one we would cho
ose.

The AL-3010SE 727 is a special edition hence the “SE”.  It comes with a solid mahogany arch top body, like all the other AL models, and comes in a 27” scale which allows for more string tension and lower tunings which is why you want a 7 string guitar in the first place.

Like all of the Agile guitars Grover tuners come standard with the guitar however the bridge is a cepheus T-003 tune-o-matic.

The pickups are, like found on most of the Agile 7 string guitars, cepheus passive ceramic pickups.  The guitar features a graph tech tusq nut for string tension and tuning.  Again, a dual adjustable truss rod is featured just like pretty much all Agile guitars.

Instead of chrome hardware the AL 3010SE 727 features black chrome hardware that really goes along nicely with the flat black finish and gives the guitar that sinister “murdered out” kind of look.

The neck is a set neck made of mahogany.  Obviously, a neck through guitar would be better for a 7 string guitar but that would also bump up the price of this guitar also.  The fretboard is made of ebony and to finish it off the frets comes hand filed from the factory so it should be very playable right out of the box.

One thing we are not totally sure how we feel about is the cream binding that goes around the body neck and headstock of the guitar.  While it does look nice and we wouldn’t say that we don’t like it, we wonder if a dark grey binding or some sort of metallic grey binding might look better with the overall flat black theme of the guitar.

That may be splitting hairs on our part but if we had one suggestion to make it better that might be it to make the guitar look even cooler.

At any rate when you see the price of this Guitar for Sale you may not care about the binding because it is such a good deal!
