Can you get a Les Paul under 500? Well that depends if it is a Gibson Les Paul or an Epiphone Les Paul. These days it will probably be hard to find even a decent Epiphone Les Paul guitar under $500.

These days as things just seem to get more and more expensive while salaries for the average joe just seem to stay the same there is a Les Paul style guitar out there that you can get for under $500 that isn’t a piece of junk.

In fact not only is it not a piece of junk but rather it is a high quality instrument that will give guitars that are thousands more a run for their money!

These are Les Paul style guitars that are will really surprise you if you are not familiar with them already. They come with some very high quality materials and components like Grover tuners, solid mahogany bodies, cream binding, nickel hardware, dual adjustable truss rod and alnico pickups.

The Agile AL 3200, which is the premier guitar in the Agile AL lineup, can be purchased for $499.99. This is a neck through body construction Agile Guitar which provides superior sustain.

The AL 3100 is at step below the 3200 and can be purchased for just $399.99. This is a great guitar in it’s own right and has many of the same features as the AL 3200 but instead has a set neck.

The Agile AL 3010 is the next up and is offered for only $329.99. This guitar also is very solid and is especially awesome when you consider the price point.

The AL 2500 is a very stout entry guitar at only $259. You really have to play this guitar to appreciate the quality of it. Once you play it you will wonder how they can offer it at such an affordable price.

The AL 1900 is the entry level Agile Guitar. You can pick up an Agile AL 1900 for $229. It has many of the same features as the other Agile’s except it has a bolt on neck.

An Agile Guitar From the Past

Make sure also to check out another guitar that we saw on the site. It appears as if Agile guitars has brought back an old model into production. Some of you may have heard that the Agile AL 2000 is no longer being produced. A new model the AL 1900 was introduced which really is not a replacement for the AL 2000 but perhaps a step down from the AL 2000.

It appears as if the closest replacement for the AL 2000 is the AL 2500. The AL 2500 is a great guitar and really when you check out the specs of the AL 2500 there is not much difference between it and the AL2500.

Perhaps that was the thinking on Agile Guitars part. If they were looking to introduce the AL 1900 and bring back the AL 2500 it meant the AL 2000 and AL 2500 were kind of redundant. It would make sense then to get rid of the AL 2000 and keep the AL 2500 as you can charge a few bucks more for it.

The Agile AL 2500 now becomes probably one of the best value guitars now in the Agile guitar lineup. It comes in lots of great finishes and colors to suit the tastes of the consumer.

I love this guitar and think that at $250 this guitar is a steal. It should be at the top of the list for those guitarists on a budget that are considering purchasing a new guitar.

The guitar has the same pickups as the outgoing Agile AL 2000 and the same construction. It has a two way adjustable truss rod, binding around the body neck and headstock. It appears as if the wiring and electronics are the same and it comes with the same Grover tuners as the other Agile guitars.

If you are looking for a new guitar and dig the Les Paul style guitar then check out the Agile AL 2500. It is an awesome guitar. It offers great quality at a very affordable price that other guitar companies would find hard to match. The Agile Al 2500 is a great entry level guitar that will provide you with a very high level of quality at a very affordable price. The guitar is great as an entry level guitar because of it’s low price but don’t let that fool you. The Agile AL 2500 is a guitar that even the accomplished guitarist can appreciate and at only $259 why not add it to your collection of axes!

Buy an Agile AL 2500

The AL 2500 has been noticeably absent from the Agile AL lineup for a couple of years. With the recent introduction of the AL 1900 and the discontinuation of the AL 2000 it appears the powers that be have decided it is a good time to bring the AL 2500 back into the fold.

We couldn’t be happier with development. The AL 2500 and the AL 2000 really were somewhat redundant as they were so similar. It didn’t seem to make sense to offer both at the same time in our opinion. The death of the AL 2000 paves the way for the AL 2500. The only really noticeable difference between the two models is that the AL 2500 has full body, neck and headstock binding while the AL 2000 only had binding around the body and neck.

Agile AL 2500 Features

For those that are familiar with the Agile AL guitars many of the features of the AL 2500 will be ones they have seen before. One of the things that is interesting is that the AL 2500 seems to be offered in a way larger variety of finishes than the other Agile AL models. If you are looking for an AL 2500 and are looking for a finish that is off the beaten path than there is a good chance you should be able to find a finish that you like.
